10th annual CMC 1000 Bike Show
at Germiston High School
The weather was cool and the sun was shining...
(And I should really stop these Breakfast Reports rhyming)!
To give our bikers more time at the fair...
Eddie took the pack directly there!
60 kms was over very fast...
So this trip for the 49 bikers wasn't meant to last!
Eddie was Pacesetter and Kevin Leader of the Pack...
Leaving trusty Dean on his couch to Sweep at the back.
Biker Buddy Basil was there, and Richard as well...
But BB Hilary rode in his car - "What the hell?"
All the new probationary Marshals were doing their "best" ...
And all were SO PROUD to be wearing THAT orange vest!
Dressed in leathers and their bikes all shiny...
Some members were happy, and some were whiney!
But a Sunday ride soon puts you in a good mood...
Especially when we stop and there's a huge plate of good food!
Breakfast runs are always such fun...
Even now in winter, when there's not that much sun!
Every kind of bike was on display..
A real "eye-opener" for all of us today!
Something for everyone, even big trikes..
Fancy cruisers and chopper-styled bikes!
All were polished with nary a scratch...
But OUR Harleys were still the best of this batch!
I left immediately leaving everyone behind...
Because Geoff was worried that a trike for him I would find!
So in our Club as the years amble past...
Make new friendships and memories that will last!
And when everything is said and done...
Remember it was always just about having fun!
Roll on next Sunday so we can all go ride...
And wear our Chapter Colours with so much pride!
Now the sun has gone and the sky is dull grey...
I think it's time for TV, popcorn and "Club Duvet!"

PS: Some Pun-nies...
- A man's home is his castle, in a manor of speaking.
- Practice safe eating - always use condiments.
- Shotgun wedding - a case of wife or death.
- Dancing cheek to cheek is really a form of floor play.
- Reading while sunbathing makes you well red.
- What's the definition of a will? (It's a dead give away).
