FATHER'S DAY
BREAKFAST RUN & SPIT BRAAI
Whoop Whoop - Father's Day is here at last...
And the Dads turned out in numbers to have their special day "blast".
Around the bar they stood to "boast" ...
While outside the meats were ready to roast.
Very good value for money at only R25,00 a plate...
And the queues were moving fast - so no need to wait!
119 kms travelled on nice long roads...
37 bikes - of fun - there was loads.
So if you weren't there...you surely missed out.
And will make a plan next year...without a doubt.
The new purple/blue Gomma Gomma was ridden by Dean...
With such a colourful bike it's really not hard to be seen.
Dicky all "cowboy" rode passed Dennis and Dot...
But actually it was THEY who were leading this lot.
Vince the Prince did his "marshalling" thing...
And that was the end of Dicky's riding fling.
4 poor bikers dropped their bikes in the beginning...
2 were marshalls and one was a new fledgling.
(I know you're all counting and this only makes three)...
But this all happened before I got there - you see!
Thanks to the Pretoria Chapter who visited us today...
Let's do this again - whadda you say?
I forgot to mention that Karl was setting the pace...
Strict as ever, you should have checked out his face!
Leandri, Andrew and Bazil were there...
As Biker Buddies (and riders) "who care!"
And for those who have nothing better to do....
I've typed down the route - just for you!
- Down South Road. Left into Marlboro Drive.
- Right onto the N3 Eastern Bypass Freeway.
- Off at Edenvale around the circle... (make da circle beega)...
- Left onto R25 Modderfontein Road. Left onto Old Pretoria Road.
- Right onto the R25. Right again at the "T' Junction onto the R50.
- Left at the 4-way stop onto the R51 Pretoria Road.
- Right onto the N12 Freeway. Right onto the R21.
- Left onto the R24. Through Gillooly's interchange onto the N3 Eastern Bypass.
- Off left at Marlboro Drive. Right into South and left into Rivonia.
Wrap up warm and enjoy the football.
It's still just "all balls" to me!
Ayoba - Wakka Wakka eh eh.
