You can be a H.O.G. member without being a member of any particular chapter, but you can not be a chapter member without being a H.O.G. member. As a H.O.G. member you can even choose to be a member of one H.O.G. chapter or of several H.O.G. chapters, even in different countries, there is no restriction on that.

So there is no dual membership, the chapter membership is like a sidecar to your bike: you can perfectly ride your bike without a sidecar, but a sidecar without a bike...

Please contact the H.O.G. office who will arrange BOTH local and international membership renewals for you!

HOG UK membership is a pre-requisite for your Local HOG Johannesburg affiliation. Please note that you need to be in good standing with the HOG UK membership for us to acknowledge your affiliation to our Chapter.

If you are not a 100% sure if Your International Subs are up to date - all you need to do is go onto the International Website www.hog.com and check if your membership is still active. To check if your local chapter subs are up to date, just contact the H.O.G. office.

To simplify payment, why not have your fee paid through a SINGLE monthly debit order which covers both your local chapter fee and your international H.O.G fee. This is effective from 1 January - the due date for Johannesburg chapter membership fees.

We will thereafter automatically arrange the renewal of your International Hog membership during the year, on the anniversary of your expiry date.

Associate H.O.G. membership is designed primarily for passengers and family of a full H.O.G. member. Associate members receive many - but not all - of the benefits that full members receive and are eligible to participate in all H.O.G. events and activities.

ABCs of Touring is an exciting touring competition that provides H.O.G. members with an added incentive to ride to new and out-of-the-way destinations, both nationally and globally.
