A legend embodies passion. A legend has depth, character and integrity. A legend is adored by many, worshipped by some, and respected by all.

A legend changes the way you live, inspires and frees you. A legend waits until the moment comes when you call upon it to shape your future. Until the moment you decide: LET'S RIDE!

BREAKFAST RUN 5 SEPTEMBER 2010

Sunday 5 September ’10
Hooters, Fourways

The Lunch Run this past Sunday, 5th September'10 was to Hooters in The Buzz Center in Fourways where we had 24 Harley's enjoying our lovely weather for the 92 km trip which was enjoyed by all.

Pacesetter : Garth
Leader of the Pack : Mike
Sweep : Vince "The Prince"
Roving Marshal : Chris

Biker Buddy : Once again a special thanks to Basil for standing in for the blank spaces.
The set up of the pack started off on a high with our honourable sweep taking the wong option and parking with the marshals.

A quick reminder and once he had sorted that out, we were off down South into Western Service Road and onto Woodmead drive. Onto the Old Pretoria Road into Olifantsfontein Road which took us all the way to the N14. Off at Muldersdrift and onto Beyers Naude backtracking to Cedar Road, into Witkoppen and into the Buzz Shopping Center.

Arriving at Hooters, we had parking cordoned off for us directly in front of the venue and ample seating arranged on their deck. After the long ride that cool breeze on the deck was divine. Soon we were joined by various other folk, arriving either on their Harley's or other dubious modes of transport.

The charming waitresses seemed to put a spring in the step and a twinkle in the eye of many an "experienced" rider and soon the large jugs of Coke and other fermented fruits were flowing and plates of scrumptious grub were being consumed.

By the time this writer left, the atmosphere had progressed into a rather festive mood. Nice one guys!

Just in passing, I hear that when our esteemed Prince went through airport security on his recent trip to Thailand, he was surprised to hear the security official tell him what his final destination was. How do you know that, enquired the Prince.
"Chinese Proverb" was the answer!!

"Man who walk through airport turnstile sideways going to Bangkok"

Never ride faster than your guardian angel can fly!

Kind regards,
Dennis N. Dalton
